Other attractions of Agra are Sikandra Fort, the tomb of Itmad-ud-Daula, who was the father of Empress Noor Jahan, Chini ka Rauza and Rambagh. Agra Fort was built by Emperor Akbar in 1565 and the city was first given prominence by Sikandar Lodi who made it his capital city in 1501. Fatehpur Sikri, Sikandra Fort, Rambagh and Jama Masjid are good places for excursions in Agra.

Agra Fort and Idgah are the main bus terminals in Agra and the city is well connected by bus service to neighboring cities such as Delhi, Jaipur, Fatehpur Sikri, Varanasi and Mathura. Buses, taxis, auto rickshaw, Tonga and cycle rickshaw are common modes of tourist transport in Agra.
