There are too many symptoms of protein poisoning to list in this short article. Degenerative diseases of all kinds are caused directly or indirectly by protein poisoning. Let’s start with cancer.

Cancer occurs when excess protein in the body causes an adverse reaction to a toxic substance, causing the body to lose control of the cells. Once this happens, the cells begin to grow outside of the brain’s supervision. Cancer is essentially normal cells in the body doing their own thing, at their own pace. It has been known for years that cancer can be turned on or off by adjusting protein levels. (1)

Arthritis is mainly caused by protein poisoning. It is aggravated by excess inorganic minerals in the diet. High protein levels are associated with high uric acid levels. Uric acid has long been known to eat away at the cartilage in the joints. Lowering protein levels is a first step in getting rid of arthritis. (2)

Heart disease, diabetes, and most other diseases can be directly or indirectly related to the consumption of animal protein. Most people who eat animal products eat an altered protein that the body cannot use to build strong, healthy tissue. If you notice the way the white of an egg changes from white to white, you are experiencing the protein disorder. This deranged protein is a lot of toxic waste for the body to deal with. Much of it is absorbed by the body and causes a lot of damage.

Consuming high levels of animal protein produces an acidic condition in the body that is the direct cause of osteoporosis and dental caries. The body has to steal calcium from the bones and teeth to prevent the acid from killing it.

Most people think that we use protein to build strong muscles. The truth is, we use amino acids to create the proteins we need to build strong muscles and every other part of the body. Our bodies have to break down the protein we eat into its individual amino acids before we can use it. This process is supposed to happen in the digestive system. You have difficulty converting the altered protein into usable amino acids.

The best sources of amino acids, to build strong bodies, are fruits and vegetables. The humble lettuce salad has more usable protein in the form of amino acids than a steak. Since most plant foods have the protein in the form we need, the body has less work to digest the food.
