Ragdolls are perfect indoor cats; but that’s about it: they’re not the type to chase mice or other things a normal cat should do. However, this does not mean that they do not like to smell the fresh air from time to time; just be careful not to leave them unattended, as outside of their typical environment they are pretty defenseless: they can get lost, they can be easily stolen (they really love strangers, especially smelly ones), get hit by a car, or worse, get very scared of your dog

They learn very quickly what they should and should not do; However, this does not mean that they are always doing what they should: they know it is wrong, but they continue to do it. Ragdoll cats can easily get used to traveling or wearing a collar, especially if thought about from a young age.

Ragdolls are perhaps the most social cats. They are very attached to their owner and people in general and often enjoy the company of other cats. There are of course exceptions (my cat is one of them, he really hates all non-human species). As true family cats, Ragdolls enjoy being around children, but not the type to continually torture them.

Young Ragdoll kittens are usually quite active, while older ones are calm and good-tempered companions. Rag dolls often like to fetch thrown toys, others prefer a combination of a game of hide-and-seek with you. They are always happy when you spend some time playing with them.

Ragdolls often respond with their low, soft voices when called. His sounds are very expressive and sometimes you think they answer you.

If you need a lovable and always trustworthy pet, then the Ragdoll cat is definitely a good choice. They are the perfect mix between a dog, a cat, and maybe the little baby you don’t have yet.
