We use the term “hill station” to describe a place located at somewhat higher elevations. Typically, this term is heard in Asian regions, where the great European rulers established towns where temperatures were cooler (as a refuge from the scorching heat in major cities). However, the benefits of hill stations are not limited to having cold climates, as a typical hill station offers a very good vacation experience for people living in the vicinity, while these visitors bring financial prosperity to the local population. In addition, these tourist centers can become a good tourist attraction for any country.
