I have been taking the Yasmin birth control pill for almost a year and it was recommended to me after a session with my doctor when I explained how unusual and uncomfortable my periods were. Take education for example, I ended up missing a lot of school due to my periods (a few days each month), but currently I’m only out because I had an illness.
About four months after taking the Yasmin birth control pill, I ended up needing it for contraceptive function as well, and was very worried (at the time) that it might not be suitable for unprotected sex through a condom. This, she curled her, was just my paranoia, as I soon showed no signs of pregnancy… Even after eight months of other times.
It has really been successful in preventing pregnancy, especially with the fact that I am apparently very fertile.
